Modern car anti-theft systems are a set of electronic technical means designed to notify car owners about attempts to steal or illegal entry, as well as blocking the start of the engine and the main car systems using a special key fob. These systems are capable of performing up to several dozen different functions, including silent arming (disarming) of the guard, which is also called the "silent guard" mode.
Instructions
Step 1
This mode assumes that the alarm signal is only sent to the key fob and (or) to the light signaling when it is necessary to maintain silence. It is only natural that each anti-theft system has its own characteristics. This is how, for example, the silent arming and disarming of the Meritecultra 2 car alarm is carried out. Press and release the Off button on the key fob, which activates the "light track" for six seconds.
Step 2
Then press and release the On button to make the system beep. At this moment, the ignition and door locks are blocked. When you press the On button again for three seconds, the anti-theft system will duplicate the light signal, after which diagnostics are carried out and the car goes into the "protection" mode.
Step 3
To turn off the shock sensor and the additional sensor, immediately after turning on the "light track" with the Off button, press the On button three times within three seconds. This operation will be confirmed by three light signals. Then the diagnostics are carried out again, and the system is transferred to the "protection" mode with the disconnection of the additional sensor and the shock sensor. When arming the system without sound confirmation signals, disarming is also performed without them.
Step 4
To put the Starline anti-theft system into silent arming and disarming mode, press button 3 for three seconds and then button 1.
Step 5
To disarm the system, first press button 3, and then button 2. Confirmation of the execution of commands is carried out exclusively by light signals. Sound signals are triggered only when the doors, hood or trunk are not fully closed, or during "silent disarming" if an alarm was triggered the day before. As practice shows, the system of silent disarming (arming) of the vehicle in combination with other programmable settings allows you to build the most optimal and reliable security system.
