Cars that run on gasoline, if desired, can be supplemented with gas equipment. However, you should not make such decisions hastily: both gas and gasoline have their own disadvantages and advantages, which should be taken into account in each specific situation.

The main advantage of gas that attracts car owners is its relatively low cost. The difference is especially noticeable if the car needs expensive high-octane gasoline and "eats" a lot of fuel. In this case, by installing gas equipment, you can significantly reduce costs. On the other hand, do not forget that the gas equipment itself, like its installation, requires money. Installing cheap, low-quality devices is not only pointless and unprofitable, but also very dangerous, since poor equipment and improper installation can eventually cause a fire. High-quality devices are quite expensive. This means that at first there will be no talk of any savings, so it makes sense to install gas equipment to save money only if you travel very often and a lot. Otherwise, it will not pay off soon. Gas has another advantage: it is more environmentally friendly than gasoline. A car that runs on gas emits much less harmful substances into the atmosphere than a car that uses gasoline as fuel. By the way, this helps to extend the life of some parts of the car, including the combustion chamber. On average, gas-powered cars run without repair 1.5-2 times longer than petrol ones. But at the same time, it is important to remember that gas equipment requires careful handling and, if used incorrectly, can simply explode. The gas mixture burns more slowly than the gasoline mixture, but it is processed almost without residue. As a result, the engine runs quieter and the spark plugs do not get dirty for a very long time. However, this also affects the characteristics of the car: it accelerates more slowly and loses some of its power. In addition, in cold weather, you simply cannot start a car without using a gasoline engine. Thus, it is more profitable to drive on gas if the car requires high-octane gasoline, the car is used very often (moreover, mainly in the warm season), and you handle it with sufficient care.
