At the most inopportune moment, a technique that previously worked properly can present its owners with an unpleasant surprise. Many drivers have faced such a problem as difficulty opening the doors of their car. The reasons for the fact that the car door (both the driver's and the passenger's) does not open can be very diverse.
Necessary
- - keys;
- - battery;
- - two wooden rulers;
- - wire;
- - screwdriver.
Instructions
Step 1
If your car has an alarm, and the doors should open when you press the key fob button, but this does not happen - check if the key fob is working properly, if the battery is dead. Replace the battery and try again. Try to open the car door with the key.
Step 2
Try to open the driver's door directly from the car with the key. The door lock button may be stuck - try lifting it manually.
Step 3
Lower the glass and pull the door opener from the outside. Most often, it is from the outside that it is easier to open the door.
Step 4
In case you are not in a car, take two wooden rulers or thin metal plates. Slide them from above between the roof and the door elastic into a small gap, so the door will bend back a little.
Step 5
Bend the wire to form a loop at the end. Push the wire into the car's interior: hook the button into the gap between the door and the roof and pull it towards you.
Step 6
Disassemble and bend the top of the driver's door in such a way as to move the rod - this will give you the opportunity to open the door.
Step 7
Disassemble the driver's door trim. How to do this correctly, see the appropriate instructions for your car brand. Remove the outer door molding (this is a special plastic strip that is located directly between the glass and the iron, and it is fastened with latches). The vacated space will be quite enough to get to the traction itself, and, consequently, to open the door.
Step 8
If there is no result, you should contact qualified specialists who will help you quickly identify the cause of the malfunction.
