It should be noted that this offense is characterized by a high degree of public danger, since such a driver can harm the health and property of other road users. That is why the main type of liability is a substantial fine, the amount of which varies from five to fifteen thousand rubles. Such a punishment will follow only if a person simply drives a vehicle without a driver's license, which he did not previously have.

What is the increased level of responsibility established for?

Stricter sanctions await a driver if he drives a car without a license, which he was previously deprived of. As a rule, the deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle is carried out due to the commission of serious violations. Therefore, attempts to continue driving without the appropriate license is a more serious offense, the likelihood of harm to someone by such a person increases many times. That is why the amount of liability for such drivers has been increased to a fine of thirty thousand rubles without any options for reducing it. In addition, in this case, administrative arrest can be used as alternative types of punishment, the duration of which can be up to fifteen days. Who else can be held responsible for this violation?

Contrary to popular belief, not only the driver himself can be held liable for driving without a license, but also the person who gave him the control of the car, knowing that he does not have the appropriate license. Regardless of the reasons why there is no driver's license (deprivation of the right to drive or the simple absence of a document), the person who has transferred the car is subject to administrative punishment in the form of fines in a fixed amount (30,000 rubles). In the relevant norms of administrative law, it is specifically stipulated that these measures of responsibility do not apply to cases of training driving.
