Step 1
In order to carry out the painting yourself, you need to follow the instructions, and then the result will only please. First you need to remove the bumper. Usually there are no problems with dismantling it.
Step 2
Next, we clean the bumper from dirt. We process its entire surface with P220 grit sandpaper, then use sandpaper with a larger P400 grit. After completely removing the paint, the bumper must be thoroughly washed and dried.
Step 3
The next stage of work is the application of the primer. Since it is applied in several layers, you need to wait until the previous layer is completely dry. The primer should be applied in thin layers.
Step 4
After the last coat of primer has dried, sand again with P400 sandpaper. For smoothing out small roughnesses, you can use P600 sandpaper.
Step 5
Next, we start painting. The paintwork is applied in strictly thin layers several times. Wait until the last applied coat is completely dry before recoating with a new coat.
