Step 1
Extend the front fork stays with inserts. Then cover its entire surface with chrome or nickel. To install the rear wheel from the car, calculate the hub and axle so that the standard brake disc is attached to the same wheel. To lighten the whole structure, leave only the disc from it and assemble it with spokes.
Step 2
Modify the rear of the frame for a wider wheel: widen the swingarm, instead of seat tubes, weld others, bent, 28 mm in diameter. Weld the reinforcement plates on top of these pipes. Tilt the rear shocks to make the suspension a little softer and benefit from the appearance.
Step 3
To move the footpegs forward and make them comfortable, lengthen the frame by 100-150mm and move the engine mounting points back. Turn the engine itself a little in a horizontal plane so that when the wide rear wheel is installed, the propeller shaft coupling does not tilt.
Step 4
Trim the standard wings. Do not remove completely - the dirt protection function must be maintained. If you need to make deeper wings, take a stroller wing as a blank. Weld the required plates to it.
Step 5
Make a new gas tank. For him, pick up several fragments of tanks from other motorcycles. Cut out the parts of the tank, butt weld them. To seal a homemade tank, pour epoxy inside and roll the tank from side to side until the epoxy evenly spreads and hardens.
Step 6
Cut the base for the new saddle from 2 mm steel. Attach the foam rubber to it in the shape of the new saddle. Use a single piece of leather for the stitching, so as not to spoil the appearance of the seams. Rivet the new saddle with rivets.
Step 7
Make the steering wheel "horned", curved. Saw out the handles and levers yourself or purchase similar ones from imported motorcycle models. Cut out the mirror stands from 8mm steel. Do not make mirror cases yourself - they are easier to purchase.
Step 8
Leave the exhaust pipe alone or add a second one. In order not to bend pipes, just weld them from fragments of other motorcycles. Also, shorten the right exhaust manifold so that the heat from it does not burn your leg. Clean and polish the seams. Chrome pipes and muffler bodies. For the characteristic Harley exhaust sound, insert the correct vehicle springs into the mufflers.
