Step 1
Find a suitable car for you on one of the Ukrainian sites for the sale of vehicles, for example, on avtobazar.ua, autobrand.com.ua or avtostop.com.ua. Going to one of the sites, set the necessary parameters in the search bar. Be sure to indicate the approximate cost of the car and the year of manufacture. A new window will display the ads that best match the request data.
Step 2
Use the contact details of the sellers to contact them and clarify the details. Try to choose those cars that are sold in the same city. This will allow you, upon arrival, to familiarize yourself with the maximum number of vehicles.
Step 3
After choosing a car, thoroughly examining it and reaching a financial compromise between you and the seller, the registration process begins. To do this, you will need identity documents (passports of both parties), your immigration card or temporary registration at the OVIR, technical passport of the vehicle (in Ukraine - a vehicle registration certificate), a general power of attorney and its copy, if the seller acts on it.
Step 4
The most reliable way to buy a car is to deregister it with the subsequent registration of the purchase and sale. In this case, you will become the direct owner of the car. When a vehicle is removed from the register, the vehicle will be checked against all existing databases: arrest, control, theft. After checking and removing the car, a seal will be put in the technical passport and transit numbers will be issued with a validity period of up to three months.
Step 5
Execute a sale and purchase agreement through a commission store, a notary's office or the Stock Exchange (the latter are now at the traffic police). You will be given three copies of the contract with the original seal. The registration certificate will be marked with the registration of this contract and the corresponding date. Within 10 days after the conclusion of the sales contract, you will have to register the car.
