Flushing the injector is necessary to clean the fuel injectors from tarry deposits that appear due to the quality of the fuel that is poured into gas tanks in our country. Due to contamination of the injector, it is difficult to start, increased fuel consumption, loss of vehicle power.
Instructions
Step 1
Flushing the injector can be done in a car workshop. Or you can do it yourself, which will save your money. Buy a flushing fluid, a set of new candles, a syringe. Also find yourself an assistant whose functions will be to press the accelerator pedal and maintain the desired engine speed.
Step 2
Take 1.5-2 liters of gasoline, which you usually fill in the fuel tank, mix it with flushing liquid. Open the hood and locate the hose from the brake servo to the intake manifold. Disconnect the rubber adapter tube. Use a syringe to pour a mixture of gasoline and flushing fluid into it. Now wait about 20 minutes for all internal growths to move away.
Step 3
Get the assistant behind the wheel and start the car engine. Let him press and hold the accelerator pedal, as the engine will not be able to keep revs on its own due to the disconnected tube. The most difficult step is the injection of the mixture. Due to the high pressure in the tube, the syringe can be pulled inward. Press gently on it, and the liquid itself will fall into the tube.
Step 4
Ignore the various sounds coming from the muffler. Black pieces can also fly out of it, and clouds of white smoke can escape - this all refers to cars that have been in operation in Russia for more than 3 years, which have never been similarly cleaned.
Step 5
Do not pour in the entire wash mixture at once, do it in small portions - this will rinse everything out more thoroughly. After the mixture is finished, stop the engine and let it cool down. Later, unscrew the old candles that have become unusable, install a new kit. Wipe down the engine area with a dry cloth and close the hood.
