Prepare a 5% caustic soda solution (50-60 g per liter of water) or soda ash solution (100-150 g per liter of water). One of these solutions must be poured into the engine cooling system and drained after 10-12 hours of operation. Then add water or antifreeze.
6% lactic acid solution is poured into the cooling system heated to 30-40 ° C. Such a flushing liquid is made by dissolving one kilogram of 36% lactic acid in five liters of water. After filling the system with the solution, the release of carbon dioxide will begin. As soon as this process stops, you need to drain the liquid and flush the cooling system with plain water.
The engine cooling system is filled with a 0.5% solution of chrompeak for only 15 minutes. To prepare a washing liquid based on hydrochloric acid, 53 ml of active substance are taken per liter of water. The system is filled with the resulting solution, and after draining it is washed several times with water.
It is better to rinse the cooling system of a new car with ordinary boiled water. The engine should idle for about 20 minutes. After that, the water is drained from the system. If the liquid is cloudy, repeat the procedure. As a result, the same clean water should come out, which was poured.
