Every driver was once a beginner and knows how responsible driving is in the first months and even years, because the safety of both himself and those around him depends on the driver's attentiveness and concentration.
Beginner rights
All drivers have equal rights on the road, regardless of experience and driving experience. Whether you are a beginner or a professional driver, there are unified rules for everyone on the road that must be followed. You have the right to drive in an authorized place, occupying any of the lanes intended for you, use a sound signal (in the cases specified by the traffic rules), stop in the prescribed places, turn at intersections and do everything that does not contradict the generally accepted rules of the road. Your main right as a beginner is the right to drive. Everything else is regulated by law.
Obligations of a novice driver
The main responsibility of every driver is to know and follow the rules of the road. Of course, no other specific responsibilities for beginners are spelled out anywhere, but there are concepts such as respect for others and ensuring safety. If you recently got behind the wheel, then you should understand that the road is a place that requires increased attention. You must be as careful as possible in order not to get into a dangerous situation. This need is further enhanced by the fact that every beginner can hardly cope with driving to the fullest - he turns his head, trying to notice every little thing, not to miss pedestrians or red traffic lights, carefully examines every sign and marking lines on the road, tries to think over his actions ahead of time, without thinking about what he is doing at a particular moment. Unfortunately, this desire to drive a car in a collected and comprehensive manner has the opposite effect. The beginner becomes distracted, noticing things that don't matter and missing out on important details. Therefore, you better take your time, try to develop peripheral vision and do not be nervous. Calmness is the key to success and making the right decision in a disputable situation.
Remember you are not alone
Unfortunately, many beginners forget that the road is one big organism, where general comfort and order depend on everyone. Try to pay as much attention as possible to those who are driving next to you. Do not interfere with their movement and do not in any way mislead them. Each driver is obliged to look after himself on the road and think not only about himself, but also about those who, like him, got behind the wheel and goes about their business. Remember that if everyone takes care of the overall comfort, then driving will become easier, and there will be much fewer accidents.
