Daewoo Matiz is one of the cheapest foreign cars that can often be found on the roads of our country. In this regard, many questions arise related to the operation of this car brand.
Necessary
replace candles, change oil
Instructions
Step 1
Before the onset of cold weather, carry out preventive work: change the candles, because without a good spark, starting in winter will be very problematic. Also consider replacing or at least adding engine oil and coolant. Remember how long you have not changed the battery, and if this period is calculated in years, then get a new battery.
Step 2
Remember to warm up the vehicle before driving to keep the spark plugs and battery in good working order. In severe frosts, try to warm up the car, regardless of whether you drive it or not. This procedure is best done in the evening to keep the engine warm for part of the night. If possible, make preventive trips on it, which can be quite short.
Step 3
Sit in the vehicle and remove it from gear by shifting the transmission lever to neutral. Remember that it is extremely undesirable to use the hand brake in winter, since the cables can freeze, and then you risk not moving at all. After that, turn on the high beam for a few seconds to let the battery "wake up".
Step 4
Then depress the clutch and turn the ignition key to start the engine. If the motor starts working, then everything is in order. If not, try again. Remember that you need to turn the engine with the starter no more than 15 seconds, after which you need a break of half a minute. Let the engine run a little, then turn on the heated rear window and blown the windshield.
Step 5
Let the engine run for 10-15 minutes to bring it up to its operating temperature. Remember that starting Matiz in winter is no more difficult than any other car, especially since it contains less oil and coolant than its “colleagues”.
