In winter, there are severe frosts at night. As a result, the car may not start in the morning. It is not necessary to immediately panic and resort to the help of technical services. You can handle it on your own.
Instructions
Step 1
Often in winter, motorists find themselves in such an unpleasant situation: they urgently need to go somewhere, but the car will not start. Most likely, there were severe frosts at night. As a result, the battery is discharged. Don't panic. Do not rush to call a forklift and take the "seven" to the car service for expensive repairs. You can do without auto mechanics.
First, look under the hood. Remove the terminals from the battery and check its charge level. The indicator should be bright (or at least dim). Otherwise, you will not be able to start the car.
Step 2
Ask passing motorists to charge yours from their batteries. If there are no cars nearby, seek help from passers-by. Let them push you. At this time, you depress the clutch pedal all the way, and then switch from first gear to second. The car will start to shake a little, but soon it will start. You can safely drive to the car service and recharge the battery.
Step 3
If the battery charge indicator is on brightly, then the matter is in the spark plugs. Often there are severe frosts at night in winter. The oil must have seeped onto the candles. In this case, you need to unscrew them and clean them.
Step 4
First, remove the tubes from the spark plugs. Label them with numbers one, two, three and four, so that you can put them back in the same order. Then, unscrew the candles one at a time. Dry them over a fire, wipe dry and scrub. The gap should be about one to two millimeters, no more, otherwise the spark plug will not produce enough spark for the plant. After the work done, your car will start without difficulty.
