There is no tachometer on the dashboard of the VAZ 2105 car, which creates certain inconveniences for many motorists during operation. Therefore, some drivers of the "five" are trying to make changes to the design by installing a tachometer.
Instructions
Step 1
Determine the location of the appliance. The standard panel does not provide room for a tachometer. You can take the VAZ 2107 torpedo as a basis, or take out the tachometer as a separate device. In the second case, you will need a housing for securing the device in order to install it on a panel or on a windshield pillar. Such a case can be purchased in a store, or you can make it yourself from scrap materials.
Step 2
Connect a tachometer. Take the device from a VAZ 2106 car as a basis. It has a connection connector. The “five” wiring does not provide for a similar connector, so cut off the terminal contact, leaving only the conductors. You will also have to grow the wires in order to route them to the ignition coil. Connect the device wires as follows: brown to the plus of the ignition coil, connect the orange wire to the coil terminal, which is marked “B +,” the black and white wire is connected to the car body.
Step 3
Install the electronic tachometer. This tachometer can be placed anywhere in the car. This is one of the advantages over a conventional device. It has three wires that go to the coil, ground, coil terminal. The device has conductor markings.
Step 4
Put a torpedo from a VAZ 2107. This step is a more exotic way with a stove, an ashtray. The new panel is installed in the same way. By placing the VAZ 2107 dashboard, you can connect the dashboard of the same car, which is equipped with a built-in tachometer.
