Abrupt release of the clutch pedal is the most common learning problem for beginners. The inability to move smoothly and accurately from a place is inherent not only to girls, but also to young people who first sat behind the wheel of a car.
It is necessary
- - car;
- - free area;
- - a glass;
- - water.
Instructions
Step 1
Abrupt release of the clutch pedal is usually caused by "misunderstanding" of the car and excessive excitement. If everything is clear with the last reason, then the first one needs to be explained. So that the car does not seem inconvenient to drive and cumbersome, you need to "feel" it.
Step 2
There are practical exercises for mastering the smooth squeezing and releasing of the pedal. To acquire your first skills, choose a site free of cars and people. A plot of 30x30 m is sufficient. The driver must drive the car to this site.
Step 3
The first exercise is aimed at keeping the engine revs. Place your right foot over the accelerator. Depress the clutch pedal and engage first gear. Release the handbrake lever while continuing to keep the clutch depressed. This will prepare the vehicle for the exercise.
Step 4
Begin to release the clutch pedal very slowly, while watching the behavior of the car: the engine will be loaded, its speed will begin to drop. Your left foot should memorize this clutch engagement position.
Step 5
Stop releasing the clutch for this exercise as soon as you feel that the engine has responded by decreasing the rpm. Pause briefly and depress the pedal, then disengage. If the engine does not stall after slowing down, the goal of the exercise is achieved. If it stalled, do the exercise again.
Step 6
The next exercise is aimed at smoothly depressing the pedal. To carry it out, you need to take a plastic cup filled to the top with water. The essence of this exercise is to judge how smoothly you move from a place by the level of water remaining in the glass at the end of the exercise. If the glass is still full, you did everything right. If not, you need to practice the previous exercise.
