After the accident, experts calculate the damage to vehicles to compensate for the material costs required for refurbishment. This procedure is not complete without scandals. Therefore, the government has developed a piece of legislation called "Rules for setting the amount of costs for materials and spare parts in the restoration of vehicles", which entered into force in September 2010.

Instructions

Step 1

The document aimed at resolving conflict situations between the parties after the accident is relevant primarily for insurance companies that calculate material damage from the accident and the amount of compensation to the victims. But it is also useful for car owners to familiarize themselves with the basic norms laid down in it. At least in order to be aware of why for the purchase of spare parts necessary for the repair of the car, and the cost of which in the trading organizations is, for example, 20 thousand rubles, he will be allocated within fifteen.

Step 2

The most interesting thing is that it is impossible to calculate the amount of damage on it. The rules govern the determination of the degree of wear of a particular part. And if you delve into the essence of legal norms, then the owner will be able to calculate how much he will be underpaid.

Step 3

According to the established tradition of Russian lawmaking, the Rules that have come into legal force raise more questions than help to clarify the situation. Thus, a separate category includes spare parts that directly affect road safety. True, the list of them is not yet ready, and no one knows when it will appear.

Step 4

The factors used in this act to calculate the degree of wear are the most mysterious moments. There is discrimination not only for the products of the domestic auto industry, but also for the cars of foreign companies produced in our country. Each year of their operation reduces the cost of machines by 5, 5%. In other words, over ten years the depreciation of a Russian-made car will amount to 55%. It follows from the document that the most reliable are Japanese cars, with which they have recently fought so actively.

Step 5

When in July 2004 a system of compulsory insurance against motor vehicle liability was introduced in our country, officials of the Ministry of Transport were instructed to develop a unified methodology for calculating damage in case of road accidents. More than a year ago, the first document appeared (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 361 dated May 24, 2010), according to which it is possible to calculate the degree of wear of a car or its parts. But the application of the norms in real conditions is possible only after the appearance of a number of bylaws and a list of components and assemblies for which correction factors are not applied, and which are still being developed in the Ministry of Transport. In the meantime, the determination of the degree of wear depends entirely on the opinion of the expert.
