Residents of small settlements often go to buy a car in neighboring cities. First, there is more choice. Secondly, the cost of used cars is somewhat cheaper. This is explained by the fact that there is more competition in a big city. It will not work to overestimate the cost of the vehicle - just no one will buy it.
Instructions
Step 1
Find on the Internet several advertisements for the sale of cars of the brand you need. For this, use the services www.auto.ru, www.avito.ru, www.irr.ru. Most of the car deals are posted on these free sites. Their offices exist in almost all Russian regions, which makes it easy to find the right vehicle very close to home. Fill in the brand name, year of issue, mileage in the search bar, and the portal will give you a list of messages that match the parameters.
Step 2
Call the phone numbers indicated in the ad. Ask if the owner has all the documents required to complete a car purchase transaction. These are: - vehicle passport (PTS), with data about the car and all its previous owners; - vehicle registration certificate; - notarized power of attorney, if the seller is not the owner. It should be written there that this person can represent the interests of the present owner when performing registration actions, drawn up in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Russian Federation (No. 488 dated June 04, 2007). You will need a copy and the original; - a general civil passport or an officer's identity card with a F7 certificate; - a receipt indicating that the state duty for removing the car from registration has been paid. Without a set of these securities, registering the car with the traffic police at the place of registration will be extremely problematic.
Step 3
Make an appointment with several car owners at once to see the maximum number of suitable cars in one day. Go to another city, taking your passport, driving license and the required amount of money with you.
Step 4
Having chosen the appropriate option, make a vehicle diagnosis. Employees of any nearby car service will help you here. For a small amount, they will inspect the car and say whether it was in an accident, whether parts have changed in it, etc.
Step 5
If the vehicle is in order, go to an organization authorized to make deals with cars. Their list, addresses and telephones can be viewed at the stand in the territorial traffic police department. There they will prepare a purchase and sale agreement, which will need to be presented when registering the car.
Step 6
After that, pay the seller and go to your hometown. There, register the car with the traffic police department at the place of registration.
