Buying a car is a very pleasant experience for every car enthusiast. Often people go to another city for a car, however, the question immediately arises about driving it to their native lands.

Step 1
Deregister the car if you buy a used car. Get transit numbers. They are also issued for a new car. You can safely drive the car to another city while these numbers are valid. If there is a "transit", a new technical inspection is not required to move the car. An OSAGO insurance policy must be drawn up, and after registering a car in your city, you will be entered into the insurance of its numbers.
Step 2
Issue a general power of attorney if the owner and you decide not to deregister the car. Of course, a car doesn't have to be a collateral. His insurance and technical inspection must not be overdue.
Step 3
Submit the vehicle to the traffic police for inspection, where the number of its body will be checked. Upon completion of the inspection of the car, an act is issued.
Step 4
Write a statement to the local traffic police with a request to remove the car from the register, attach to it an inspection report of the vehicle by the traffic police inspector. Consideration of the application and removal of the car from the register is carried out within a month. In rare cases, this process can be delayed.
Step 5
Drive a car from another city together with a companion. It can be a friend, father, brother. It is advisable to have in the car the means permitted for self-defense. Cases of robbery on the highway are rare today, but no one is immune from them.
Step 6
Hit the road before dark if you have a long journey ahead. It is not recommended to drive a car to another city at night. There are several reasons for this. First, everyone is overworked and their reaction slows down. Accordingly, the risk of road accidents increases. You can save 10 hours on the road, or you can lose your purchase or your life. Secondly, during the day, the probability of an attack is several times lower than at night.
Step 7
Send PTS by registered mail to your address. To drive a car, it is enough to have its registration certificate, a technical inspection coupon and a formalized insurance with you. It is almost impossible to sell a car without PTS, especially to simple road fraudsters.
Step 8
Remember that a purchase and sale agreement is a prerequisite for driving a car to another city. It allows you to avoid unnecessary proceedings with the police (traffic police officers).
