Trambler, also known as the interrupter-distributor of the ignition system of an internal combustion engine running on gasoline, is designed to generate a spark discharge and its subsequent distribution to the cylinder plugs in a certain order.
It is necessary
13 mm spanner
Instructions
Step 1
The principle of installing the ignition system breaker-distributor in the engine is the same for all engines and begins with unscrewing the spark plug of the first cylinder and installing the crankshaft according to the marks.
Step 2
A piece of paper is pressed into the vacant hole in the head of the first cylinder block (do not overdo it and do not fall inside).
Step 3
Further, the engine crankshaft is turned with a ratchet wrench until the moment the paper plug is "shot", which indicates the beginning of the compression stroke. Now the mark on the front pulley is carefully aligned with the middle shimmer on the motor cover (there are three of them there).
Step 4
Turning the breaker shaft so that the distributor rotor contact points to the output of the high-voltage wire of the first cylinder, insert it into the cylinder block. At this stage, it is required to pay attention to the fact that at the moment of meshing of the helical gears of the "distributor" and the intermediate shaft, the ignition timing is shifted. Therefore, beforehand, slightly turn the "slider" counterclockwise.
Step 5
After the breaker has taken its regular place, it is fixed with a clamping bracket put on the hairpin and tightening the nut with a 13 mm wrench. Then a wire from the ignition coil is connected to it and a cover with high-voltage wires is put on.
Step 6
Having screwed the spark plug into the head of the block, make an attempt at the first start, and then set the ignition timing.
