Step 1
The first step is to remove the carburetor from the car engine. The carburetor is located under the air filter. The filter cover is held in place by 4 screws. The carburetor itself is attached to 4 bolts. It is more convenient to unscrew them with a spanner key. Disconnect fuel hoses and gas cable from the carburetor.
Step 2
When the carburetor is removed, you need to unscrew the 5 bolts that are on top. After unscrewing the bolts, it can be divided into two parts. Then we take out their carburetor solenoid valve and remove the fuel jet from the body. We take a thin screwdriver or wire in our hand and push out the axis of the floats. We take out the axle and remove the floats. Do this carefully, do not bend the floats.
Step 3
Remove the carburetor cover. You will see a spacer. If it has severe damage, then you need to make a replacement. We unscrew the fuel valve and unscrew the four screws securing the cover of the starting device. After that, it is necessary to remove the cover of the starting device and the diaphragm located on it. We unscrew the fuel filter plug. The fuel filter plug should be easily removed. It contains a filter.
Step 4
After the carburetor is disassembled, you can start cleaning it. To do this, you will need a special carburetor cleaner. It is sold in almost all auto parts stores. Pour the liquid into a small saucepan. The carburetor should fit completely into it. We put it there for a day. After a day, we take out the carburetor. You will see that the liquid has turned dark. We take a small piece of cloth and soak it with gasoline. We wipe the carburetor with this cloth. You need to wipe both chambers well. Let it dry. Now you can safely do the assembly. Collect in the reverse order.
