Often people are faced with the need to purchase their own car. Of course, it is more comfortable to use a private car than to travel by bus. But in order to be able to drive a car, you need to obtain a driver's license.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose a driving school where you will study. You can find a driving school through advertisements on the Internet, newspapers, magazines, or from advertisements that are usually posted in the area where the training is taking place. Choose a driving school as close as possible to where you live, work or study. This will be more convenient, since you do not have to spend a lot of time on the road.
Step 2
Discuss the schedule of lessons with the management of the driving school. The standard course includes lectures and practical exercises with an instructor. Lectures will prepare you for the theory exam, and driving will prepare you for practice. In advance, warn the person who will draw up documents for you that you are registered in another city. Show temporary registration at the place of stay.
Step 3
Pay for your driving school tuition. Most likely, a contract for the provision of services will be concluded with you, which will spell out your rights and obligations, the cost of training, etc.
Step 4
After you start lecturing on driving theory, you will have the opportunity to meet with your practice instructor and discuss the meeting point and time of class with him. Usually, the site where the exercises are performed and the practical exam is taken is located near the driving school.
Step 5
During your training, the management of the driving school will send a request to the traffic police department of your city, at the address of your registration indicated in your passport. Since they receive a reply by mail, the timing of its receipt may be different. Make sure that the driving school sends your request as early as possible, as soon as you start training. Periodically remind the person involved in the paperwork at the driving school (most likely, the secretary) about this.
Step 6
If you want to take the initiative into your own hands, head to your hometown for help from your local traffic police department. The driving school secretary will tell you what kind of certificate you need. Usually, a certificate is required stating that you have not been issued a driver's license, and you have not been deprived of it.
Step 7
Show your certificate to the secretary of the driving school. He will attach it to your set of documents required for passing the exam in the traffic police. You will also need a medical certificate, several photos (for a driver's card, certificate, etc.), a photocopy of your passport and registration, a receipt for payment of the state fee for passing the exam at the traffic police. Usually, the management of the driving school or the teacher who conducts theoretical classes informs about the necessary documents.
Step 8
After successfully passing the theoretical and practical exams at the driving school, you will have to pass the exam at the traffic police. Remember that inspectors can be stricter than instructors at a driving school. Listen carefully to their directions and instructions as you take the exam, try not to worry, and strictly follow the traffic rules.
Step 9
After passing the exam at the traffic police, ask the inspector when it will be possible to pick up your driver's license. This can usually be done in a few days at the department where the exam took place.
