The best option for placing acoustics is the front of the car. Front speakers are traditionally installed in the side doors. The woofers are mounted on the A-pillars.

You shouldn't install the speakers at the back. For connoisseurs of good sound, it's like standing with your back to the band at a concert. But the subwoofer should be installed at the back, since the human ear does not perceive the direction of low frequencies.
