A high-quality audio system reproduces the entire range of frequencies perceived by a person. This cannot be achieved with a single speaker. A subwoofer is required to reproduce low frequencies. This component is popular in many sound systems, it comes in different shapes and sizes, but it certainly gives a unique sounding atmosphere to the room where it is installed, including in the car. The number of subwoofers that can be installed in a car is limited only by the human imagination.
Instructions
Step 1
Get a thick and long enough speaker cable. Use this to connect the subwoofer, which has left and right outputs, to the amplifier. In order not to miscalculate with the cable length, think over the location of the subwoofers in advance and estimate the distance.
Step 2
Connect the subwoofer to the outputs on the amplifier, and connect the speaker system to the subwoofer, to the high-level output. This method of connection will reduce the load on the loudspeaker in the low frequency range, but the working load on the entire system will increase.
Step 3
You can connect the subwoofer in another way. Connect it to the same outputs as the speaker wires. In this design, the subwoofer and speaker system work together in the low frequency range. This parallel connection will protect you from resistance problems due to the high impedance of the subwoofer.
Step 4
To connect the second subwoofer, you must connect it in parallel with the first, connecting it to each of the amplifier channels. Thus, the impact of the system will increase, and the car interior will be filled with juicy and at the same time soft bass.
Step 5
Do not rush to install "tightly" both subwoofers in place, first turn them on and simply put them in the intended installation place. Play music with bass and look for a place where the sound will be the lowest and create the most pressure.
