Instructions
Step 1
Remove the negative terminal from the battery. Install the video recorder in a safe and accessible place, such as in the glove compartment or glove compartment. Dismantle the dashboard and supply power to the device from the vehicle's on-board network.
Step 2
Select a video camera to capture events while driving. The main characteristics of such video cameras are the angle and resolution of shooting, light sensitivity. Step 3
Install the front-facing video camera on the bracket next to the salon rear-view mirror. Pass the camera wire under the interior trim and connect it to the video recorder.

Decide where to install the second camera. It is preferable to point it back. Fasten the swing arm with self-tapping screws. Remove the ceiling trim and connect the second camera to the DVR.
Step 5
Connect a monitor to the recorder to test the operation of the cameras. Put the interior panels back in place, you can use liquid nails for additional fixation and soundproofing.
Step 6
Set up camera views using the monitor. Many cameras allow you to change magnification and focal length, as well as standard color settings. In more advanced models, autofocus is implemented.
Step 7
Insert a memory card into the recorder. Many of them support different formats, but the most common is Secure Digital. Replace the battery terminal and test drive. The camera settings can get lost from shaking, if necessary, correct it. To add data on the speed and geographical position of the car to the video, connect a GPS navigator.
