- - passport or other identity document;
- - CTP policy;
- - documents that confirm your right to own a car (certificate of account, donation agreement, purchase and sale, etc.);
- - receipts for payment of state fees;
- - vehicle for presentation for inspection;
- - if necessary, a power of attorney, transit numbers.
Instructions
Step 1
The traffic police, like any other state structure, has its own official website, where you can find a link to the website of the regional office. It is there that you can find out which MREO you should contact. There you also need to download an application form for registering a car and receipts required to pay state duties. By doing this at home, you will free yourself from filling out these forms in the MREO itself.
Step 2
On the same regional site, you can make an appointment at a convenient time for you. You can do the same by calling MREO.
Step 3
The number of receipts and their amount depends on the specific case. For the issuance of the registration certificate itself and the marks, you will have to pay 1,500 rubles in 2011. If you need to make any changes to the existing registration certificate, then in this case you will need to pay for the corresponding receipt. You can pay for receipts through any branch of Sberbank.
Step 4
The CTP policy can be issued both at the car dealership where you bought the car, and at the insurance company of your choice. In the first case, you will issue the policy immediately, in the second, you will have to go to the office of the company, which will take you some time.
Step 5
Your car will be inspected without fail at the site equipped with the MREO on the same day on which you will register the car. Based on the results of the check, an appropriate act is drawn up. If all your documents are in order, the car has successfully passed the inspection, then on the same day you will become a happy driver of your own car with new numbers.
