If the car battery is completely discharged, determine its capacity, connect it to the charger and charge it with a low current, which is calculated depending on the capacity. Charging a fully discharged mobile phone or player battery is more difficult - here you have to apply several options.

charger, power supply
Instructions
Step 1
Charging the car battery If the car battery is completely discharged, it is better not to try to start it right away by "lighting" it from the charger or the battery of another car. In order not to damage the battery, immediately remove it, bring it indoors and try to charge it. When charging, apply a current of no more than 10% of the battery capacity. If, for example, the battery has a capacity of 55 ampere-hours, apply a current of no more than 5.5 amperes to it and charge it for 10 hours. When charging, remove the battery covers and make sure that it does not overheat or boil. In this case, the battery could be permanently damaged.
Step 2
If the battery is hermetically sealed and does not require personal care, then when charging it, set an even weaker current - 2.5% of the battery capacity. For a 55 amp-hour battery, this current will be 1.375 A and the charging time will be 40 hours. If possible, use chargers with a “trickle charge” mode, which reduces the current as the battery charges, preventing it from overheating.
Step 3
Some chargers have a quick charge function. It should only be used as a last resort as it will significantly reduce battery life.
Step 4
Charging the battery of a mobile phone or player The lithium batteries used in these devices are blocked by special controllers when fully discharged, so it is considered that they cannot be charged. But it's worth trying. First of all, charge your device for a few hours. If it does not help, remove the battery and apply voltage to it from the power supply, but not higher than 4, 2 volts. Put it back in an hour later. If the charge does not appear, find the battery controller and apply voltage, bypassing it. The battery will start charging, but it may explode, so be very careful.
