Bumper covers are especially popular among tuning enthusiasts. Such pads not only change the appearance of the car, giving it a sporty character, but also perform a protective function.

Instructions
Step 1
To make the correct bumper covers, sketch them. Pay special attention to this stage of work, since the final result depends on the correctness of the sketch of the overlays. As soon as you complete the sketch, start making the overlays themselves.
Step 2
Fill the contours of the bumper linings with polyurethane foam (do this operation in stages so that the foam dries faster). For hardness, it is better to crush the used foam (of course, its volume will become smaller, but it will also be harder). The manufactured blank is already almost half of the future bumper with a lining.
Step 3
Mark out the blank and cut it following the sketches. For greater accuracy, mark out using a template. Then sand the polyurethane foam with sandpaper (the smoother the surface, the less time it will take to putty afterwards).
Step 4
Cover the disc with thick paper, and then with fiberglass mesh or fiberglass. Then coat the bumper with epoxy. To prevent the epoxy resin from hardening quickly, prepare it in small portions (three hundred grams).
Step 5
Add aluminum powder filler to the last coat of epoxy to ensure a level surface. After a day, the epoxy will reach its maximum strength. Try to ensure that the fiberglass is laid down evenly during pasting.
Step 6
Apply the first layer of putty with fiberglass (this will prevent the bumper from snapping on impact). Then sand the surface with 220 or 320 grit sandpaper. You can use a special power tool for grinding.
Step 7
Remove any sanding dust from the bumper and apply several coats of primer. Sand the product with fine-grained sandpaper and paint over it.
