The car, like other equipment, requires proper attention and care. However, even this cannot make it eternal. One day the moment comes when your "iron horse" fails. To control this process, as well as to know the technical condition of the car before buying it, you should determine the wear and tear of the car.
Instructions
Step 1
This is done using a special technique for calculating vehicle wear. This formula is used in professional auto repair shops, insurance companies, etc. If you want to do it yourself, follow the next algorithm.
Step 2
Take I1 (mileage wear indicator), which can be determined using a special document. This indicator is determined as a percentage in relation to 1000 kilometers of run. For Russia and the CIS countries, a special wear factor is used for a passenger car: - ZAZ 965 - 0.58; - ZAZ 966 - 0.51; - ZAZ 968, 969 - 0.41; - other ZAZ and LuAZ models - 0.40; - "Moskvich" 400-402 - 0, 58; - "Moskvich" 403, 407, 408 - 0, 41; - "Moskvich" AZLK and IZH - 0, 35; - VAZ - 0, 34-0, 35; - GAZ-12, 13, 69, 2140 (and modifications), 2140, 24-11, 3102 - 0, 3; - GAZ-21, M-20, 21, 72 - 0, 40- M-1, GAZ-67 - 0.58.
Step 3
If you are the proud owner of a foreign car, then determine the coefficient by the type and volume of its engine: - petrol up to 1, 500 cc - 0, 38; - petrol 1, 600 - 0, 24; - petrol 1, 800 - 0, 18; - petrol 2, 000 - 0; - petrol over 2, 000 - 0, 23; - diesel - 0, 23; - turbo-diesel - 0, 26.
Step 4
Using accounting documents, individual for each vehicle, determine the actual mileage Pf (measured in thousands of kilometers). Round the indicator to tenths.
Step 5
You can also focus on the speedometer readings. If you fear that in the latter case, the data was violated as a result of "twisting" or replacing this element, take the average mileage of a similar vehicle based on the results of one year to calculate. All indicators can be found in the reference books "DAT", "Audatext", "Motor", "Eurotax" and "Mitchell".
Step 6
Now find I2 (aging indicator), which is distinguished by the service life and the intensity of use of this vehicle. This information is contained in Appendix 10 of the Methodological Guide RD 37.009.015-9. Also find out the actual service life or Dph (measured in years), which is also measured to the nearest tenth.
Step 7
You just have to substitute the available data into the following formula: Ytr = (I1Pf + I2Df). The result is a percentage.
