Instructions

Step 1

First, the engine must be removed from the engine compartment. To do this, remove the carburetor, generator, cylinder head, gearbox, manifold and flywheel along with clutch discs. After dismantling these components, the engine will become much lighter and, by unscrewing the engine mountings, it can be removed from the engine compartment.

Step 2

Next, you need to remove the crankcase cover and unscrew the connecting rods. Pull them out together with the pistons and knock the fingers out of the pistons. Then the crankshaft is dismantled together with the liners. All removed parts must be folded in the dismantling order so as not to confuse them when assembling the engine.

Step 3

If the crankshaft journals and block sleeves are clearly depleted, they will need to be taken to the turner for a sprout. And you will also need to purchase repair liners, piston rings by liner size and new pins

Step 4

Now you can start assembling the engine. First of all, the crankshaft is installed, not forgetting to abundantly lubricate the liners with engine oil. This work must be done carefully and carefully so as not to confuse the inserts.

Step 5

Press in fingers. To make the fingers fall into place easily, you need to heat the connecting rod necks in oil. Then put on the piston rings.

Step 6

Insert the pistons into the block. This operation requires a special mandrel. If it is not there, you can use the folk method. Cut a strip of tin from a tin can and wrap the rings around it with pliers, push the piston inward. After installing the crankshaft and the piston group, the crankcase cover is put in place.

Step 7

In this form, the engine can be put back in the engine compartment, and all attachments can be installed in their places: flywheel, clutch basket, gearbox, cylinder head, generator, carburetor and manifold.

Step 8

Before starting the engine, its crankshaft must be cranked several times. The engine must be run in as written in the operating instructions.
