Step 1
In order to fully use the resource of the car engine, conscientiously follow all the recommendations for running in a motor that has undergone a major overhaul.
Step 2
Remember the main thing: the break-in must be uniform. During the first two to three thousand kilometers, the engine is contraindicated in sudden acceleration and deceleration. Therefore, it is better to drive in the car not in city traffic jams, but on a free long highway.
Step 3
When rubbing parts are worn in, they heat up unnecessarily. Therefore, run in the engine after repairs under lower loads. During the first 500 km, do not allow the engine speed to rise above 2500 rpm.
Step 4
For the next 2000 km, limit the rpm to three thousand per minute.
Step 5
Accelerate engine speed slowly. Do not press the accelerator pedal deeper than one third of its free travel.
Step 6
Do not drive uphill in high gear at low, less than one and a half thousand, rpm.
Step 7
Do not overload the vehicle. Carry no more than 2-3 passengers.
Step 8
Do not tow another vehicle, do not drive a trailer.
Step 9
Only start the engine with the starter. Do not crank the engine while towing or coasting.
Step 10
Do not overheat the engine. If, according to the sensor, the temperature exceeds 105 ° C, turn off the engine. Let it cool down before moving on.
Step 11
Check the engine oil level and coolant level in the conservator daily. If you are on a long trip, check the level of these fluids every 250 km. During running-in, an increased oil consumption is possible - about 300 g per 1000 km. You can evaluate it by the dipstick: the difference between the maximum and minimum level on it is 1 liter. Top up with the same engine oil that was filled in the engine.

After 2500 km of run, change the engine oil and oil filter.
Step 13
Increase the engine load gradually and smoothly. Do not drive aggressively, do not race up to 5,000 km.
