A good, well-groomed car must work stably. A good owner is obliged to take care of his beloved car. And for this you need to have at least a set of minimal, basic knowledge. For example, if your car doesn't want to start, or doesn't want to drive and stops, then most likely it has a carburetor problem. Here's how to change the carburetor yourself.
Necessary
In order to change the old carburetor for a new one you will need two keys for "8" and "13", a screwdriver, a new carburetor, and household gloves
Instructions
Step 1
Start with the tightening clamp - you need to loosen it and then disconnect the air intake hose (it is corrugated).
Step 2
After that, unscrew the nuts (with an 8 key) that attach the air filter to the carburetor. The plate must be removed.
Step 3
Go to the crankcase ventilation hose - loosen the clamp and remove the housing from the air filter.
Step 4
The next in turn is the bolt that tightens the fastening of the sheath of the air damper drive cable. It also needs to be weakened, make it with a key of 8.
Step 5
Loosen the cable fixing screw and pull the cable out.
Step 6
Then remove the gas outlet hose from the fitting, disconnect the wire ends from the output of the microswitch of the EPHH control system.
Step 7
The next step is to use a thin screwdriver to pick up and remove the rod from the throttle valve drive lever.
Step 8
Remove the solenoid valve hose from the economizer fitting, loosen the clamp and remove the fuel supply hose.
Step 9
Unscrew 4 nuts (with a 13 wrench) and pull out the old carburetor.
Step 10
The new carburetor is installed in the reverse order.
