- Both pipes are cold. This situation most often occurs due to a malfunction of the faucet. It is necessary to check the condition of the crane and related elements. Replace defective ones, if necessary. Some owners of domestic cars for the winter period replace the heater tap with a piece of pipe.
- Underwater hot, diverting - almost or absolutely cold. Here, the reason usually lies in the radiator of the stove - the heat exchanger tubes are clogged. The radiator must be thoroughly flushed, blown out with compressed air, or completely replaced if flushing did not give results.
- Both are hot. This rarely happens when the fan is running. The fan propeller should be checked - whether the blades are broken, whether it is firmly attached to the rotor shaft.
Level
It is necessary to check the level of antifreeze in the engine radiator - after opening the heater tap, it may decrease. If the heater system is not airtight, then over the summer air could accumulate there, which is usually squeezed out by antifreeze. To facilitate this process, the car must be installed with a backward slope. The fluid must be topped up with the engine running.
Fan
When you do not hear the characteristic sound of a working fan, then you should do it. Use a voltmeter to check the power supply to the motor terminals. If the current does not flow, then the motor will have to be changed. Otherwise, look for a break in the electrical circuit - switch terminals, wires. Perhaps the switch itself or the resistor is out of order
