Let's start with gasoline. This fuel was used by cars almost from the very beginning of the creation and existence of cars. This type of fuel is, in principle, safe and has been fairly well researched. However, now gasoline prices have risen, and such fuel is now not profitable to refuel.
And what about gas? Refueling itself is much cheaper than refueling with gasoline. It is worth saying that converting a car for gas will be more expensive, and a car with already built-in gas fuel for the engine will not be cheap. It is also necessary to clarify what kind of gas we are talking about. Methane is placed in cylinders with a pressure of 250 atmospheres - natural gas that can exist only in a gaseous state. Gas tanks and stoves are filled with the same gas, and there is a misconception that such gas is used as fuel for cars. It will be extremely difficult to place such a cylinder in a passenger car. Therefore, a mixture of propane and butane is used to refuel cars. When exposed to pressure and temperature + 20 ° C, such a mixture turns into a liquid and enters the engine as fuel.
The disadvantage of gas in a car is that the volume of the trunk is significantly reduced due to the cylinder located in it. And the thought that you have a gas cylinder in your trunk somehow haunts you while driving. At the slightest collision, if the air gets into the gas, then trouble will happen. Also, many drivers are unhappy with the fact that the dynamics of the car becomes sluggish when using gas. Some even switch to gasoline when overtaking, and then back to gas, this creates some inconvenience.
