On the cars of the tenth Lada family, the same fuel pumps are used. And all the units that are in the VAZ 2110 are also available in the VAZ 2112. The fuel pump is removed to replace it or change the filter.

Instructions
Step 1
Take a key 10 and remove the negative terminal from the battery. You are going to carry out work directly in the gas tank, and the pump is electrically driven. In the event of a short circuit, the fuel may ignite. Try to de-energize the vehicle before work to protect yourself. These and further steps to remove the fuel pump are the same for cars of only the tenth family.
Step 2
Remove the rear seat, underneath you will find a fuel pump. It is installed directly in the tank, a wiring harness and two fuel lines are suitable for it. The wires are fixed to the line with a tie-clamp. This clamp must be loosened with a screwdriver or the edge of a knife, first disconnect the plug from the fuel pump.
Step 3
Unscrew the fuel lines with a 17 wrench. Having done this, pay attention to the fact that there are gaskets on them. Try to install new ones during assembly to prevent leaks. Now that all attachments that interfere with dismantling have been removed, you can start removing the fuel pump to replace it or clean the filter. Of course, it is advisable not to clean the filter, but to install a new one, since its cost is not very high.
Step 4
Remove the seven nuts that secure the fuel pump. This should be done with a 7 key. It is most convenient to use a socket wrench. Firstly, it is easier to twist, since the effort must be applied as little as possible. Secondly, the risk of damaging the edges of the nuts is reduced, since the socket wrench does not turn on them. You can use both a ratchet and a handle in the form of a screwdriver with a head of 7. Depends on what is more convenient for you.
Step 5
Remove the O-ring after unscrewing the nuts. This is the last thing that holds the pump in its place, so after that you only need to take it up to the salon. There is still a rubber seal under the fuel pump. Now you need to replace the pump or fuel filter. It depends on what the reason for removing the pump is. When carrying out repairs, try to immediately replace all rubber products, since the old ones, most likely, have already lost their structure, covered with cracks, which is why the quality of their connection has deteriorated much.
Step 6
Assemble in the reverse order of removal of the pump. Please note that the arrow, embossed on the top cover of the fuel pump, should point towards the trunk. Note that the pump and float are designed in a single housing. Therefore, even replacing the fuel level sensor will have to be done after removing the fuel pump.
