For owners of both cars and trucks, the issue of selling old, worn-out tires is becoming a real problem. Some without a second thought take the tires to the landfill, not thinking that by doing so they harm the environment. If you approach the question of where to hand over the old tires, with all responsibility, then there are two main options.
Instructions
Step 1
Currently, there are only two options to get rid of tires that have already served their purpose. The first option is to take your tires to a used tire recycling plant, and the second to the recycling centers for old cars.
Step 2
In large and medium-sized cities, there are special factories that recycle old rubber tires. Such enterprises are equipped with technological lines, where tires are processed into rubber crumb, which serves as a raw material for roofing materials, various coatings (industrial floor), rubber products for various purposes, and much more.
Step 3
Both legal entities and individuals can hand over tires to such factories, there are no restrictions in this regard. True, there may be a limitation on the minimum number of tires to accept. If you have a car tire recycling plant in your city (in the district, to be more precise), it is quite possible to store old tires in your garage, and then hand over everything at once for recycling.
Step 4
Besides the limitation on the number of tires to change, there are other difficulties that make this option not very convenient for most car enthusiasts. Tire recycling plants are usually located outside the city, and not every car owner has a truck to take a whole batch of tires there.
Step 5
The second option is to hand over your tires to recycling centers. Such items are usually taken along with the recycled car, but, in principle, you can agree with their employees. True, you will have to pay for this.
Step 6
As you can see, both methods of getting rid of old tires have more disadvantages than advantages, which is why, unfortunately, many car owners do not use them, preferring to leave tires at the nearest landfill. At the same time, most car owners would be happy to hand over their tires, and not throw them away, so as not to harm the environment, but few people want to pay money for this.
