Step 1
Think about how it will be more convenient for you to install new cards. You can scan them and then download them as images, download them from the Internet and simply purchase ready-made software with preinstalled maps. Turn on your GPS device and select one of the options for adding maps to the menu.
Step 2
Buy the map required for your area on the manufacturer's official website. You can also purchase maps of European or other countries. Some of them are already in your navigator, while others you will need to purchase separately. If you are looking for a map of a particular place, then it can be easily found by several keywords.
Step 3
Use the dedicated cable to connect the GPS navigator to your PC. The device will scan your computer hard drive for maps within a few minutes and then start loading them. If you could not find the electronic versions of the maps, then you can scan the paper one.
Step 4
Just don't forget to position it so that the map is strictly oriented to the north. Then save the image in JPEG format. You will also need to determine the main points on the spot on a paper map, then find out their longitude and latitude. Then enter the received data in the form of a list on the computer and save it in the "HTM" format.
Step 5
Create a new folder on the GPS and upload all scanned images and a text list with coordinates there from your PC. In order to view the downloaded map, you just need to select it from the current menu. Be sure to make sure the device is playing the downloaded images and reading the coordinates. If the device cannot reproduce pictures, then you will need to re-scan the card and save it in a different format. If all the pictures quickly open along with the coordinates, then you have successfully installed the GPS map.
