The reasons for this can be completely different: the engine is incorrectly assembled, the teeth are torn off, the toothed belt is torn, the crankshaft starter is turning, and others. Instructions

Step 1

To correct defects, partial disassembly of the engine is required, as well as lapping of the valves. In a home workshop, lapping is carried out using a fifteen-centimeter hose corresponding to the diameter, the end of which is put on the valve (it will act as a handle).

Step 2

Use a hammer to grind the glass into powder, and then mix it with machine oil. Apply this mixture to the edge of the valve and begin the lapping process. Be careful not to get the paste on the valve stem during lapping, as this can seriously damage the textolite guide handle.

Step 3

Put the rubber hose-handle on the valve stem from the opposite side of the head, then press the valve against the seat and begin to rotate it. Rotate the valve thirty degrees each time. Tear off the valve periodically from the seat and move it to a new place (this is necessary so that there are no large circular scratches on the surface of the valve and seat).

Step 4

If a gray track with a thickness of one and a half to two centimeters appears on the surface of the valve, this is a sign that the lapping process is over. At the end of the work, wash the valve head and lapping areas well with kerosene. Lapping can be done on all types of engines.

Step 5

If the mileage of the vehicle has exceeded fifty thousand kilometers, it is high time to restore the operating parameters of the engine. For these purposes, remetallants are used, which, when added to the oil, help to restore the worn surfaces of engine parts. These unique "preparations" in a short time produce self-restoration of the original geometric dimensions of parts, increase compression, reduce fuel consumption, and also normalize the parameters of the car engine.
