Step 1
Fly to Kaliningrad by plane. For this, a Friday morning flight is best, in order to spend the afternoon in search of a suitable car in the city center. Look for the car you picked up in advance. There are already exhibited customs cleared and registered cars: BMW, Mercedes E-class and Audi of the latest models. Compare prices and you will be pleasantly surprised: their cost is 10-15% lower than those that can be seen in Moscow.
Step 2
If your Friday hike doesn't bring the desired result, then on Saturday go to the car market, which is located on the outskirts of the city. There is a huge selection of cars, new and not so much. Go haggle. Remember that here most of the cars went through customs clearance according to two schemes: for Russia and for the Kaliningrad region. The first option involves full customs clearance, and you will deliver this vehicle without any problems in any region of the country. And the second scheme implies cars that are allowed to drive only in this area.
Step 3
When buying a car, issue a general power of attorney from the seller and hit the road home. To Moscow, you will have to travel 1,460 kilometers through Poland and Belarus, about 30 hours of travel and spend more than 100 liters of gasoline. Having driven the car to Moscow, fill out an inspection report that the car cannot return to the place of registration. Fly again to Kaliningrad, go with this paper and removed numbers to the traffic police department, and the vehicle will be removed from the register.
Step 4
When the car is removed from the register immediately at the place of purchase, you will have to go with transit numbers, which causes a large number of stops and inspections to the side of police officers. Do not travel through Lithuania, although this path is the shortest, here you will be required a visa and a bunch of certificates. Beware of bandits on the way, the main thing is not to let them overtake you and push you to the side of the road, otherwise you will lose money and, possibly, your car.
