Select a subwoofer suitable for your car in a specialized store. There are subwoofers on sale with a different number of windings, from 1 to 4. But keep in mind that the number of windings does not significantly affect the sound quality. Case models can be distinguished - they are of very high quality and serve regularly for a long time. Powered subwoofers are easy to install, easy to set up, and nearly all have high-level inputs that can be used to connect head units. But this type of subwoofer has a serious drawback - there are no built-in amplifier outputs, i.e. if for some reason he is out of order, he will become useless.

Remember: the place for a quality installation directly depends on the type of body of your car. According to the body structure, modern cars can be divided into three types: cars with a trunk (sedan); open body cars (convertible); cars with a trunk, which is combined with the salon (station wagon). Each such modification of the cabin has its own distinctive features when installing a subwoofer. So if you are the owner of a sedan car, the installation will take a very long time.

You will need to connect the car subwoofer to the side wall or directly in the trunk. But at the same time, low frequencies will prevail in the cabin. This feature is associated with acoustic shielding and vibrations that occur directly in the body of this type of car.

Therefore, if you want to hear other frequencies as well, you have to resort to some tricks. Install the subwoofer on the rear shelf for easy connection. If you have a station wagon, the acoustic installation can be placed in any place convenient for you.
