In the age of high technologies, it became possible to pay for fuel at gas stations with plastic cards. But not everyone knows how to refuel a car in this way.
Necessary
Fuel or bank plastic card
Instructions
Step 1
Payment cards are very convenient and easy to use. You can pay for gasoline with two types of cards: a plastic bank card, a fuel plastic card. The only difference is that when paying with a bank card, money is debited, and when paying for fuel - liters.
To pay by card, stop your car near the fuel dispenser. Then turn off the engine, open the gas tank and insert the gun with the correct grade of fuel into it.
Step 2
Go to the checkout and give your plastic card to the petrol station operator. Then tell me the number of the column where your car is, the brand of gasoline, as well as the number of liters. Please note that you need to indicate exactly the number of liters, and not the amount.
Before paying for gasoline, make sure that the number of liters you ordered will go into the gas tank. Otherwise, in the event of an overflow of the tank, you will have to carry out the procedure for returning the balance of funds to your card.
Step 3
If you have a bank card, the operator will give you a special terminal. Enter your four-digit secret code on it, then press the enter button and return the terminal to the petrol station operator. If you have money on your account and the connection with the bank is established, the payment for the fuel ordered by you will take place. After that, the operator will return the card to you, and also give you two checks.
In the case of using a fuel card, the only difference is that you do not need to enter the secret code yourself, you must inform the operator and wait for the receipt of the check.
Step 4
Now go to the dispenser and refuel your vehicle. Then hang up the gun, first check that the latch is open.
