The car under the Accent brand, which is manufactured by Hyundai, belongs to class C. The car is equipped with two block headlights, which include head and side light bulbs, as well as a direction indicator. The dipped and main beam consists of halogen lamps, the "turn signal" lamp is single-stranded with an orange bulb. Also, the car can be equipped with fog lights. If any lamp fails, it is important to know how to quickly and correctly replace it.
Instructions
Step 1
To replace the headlight bulb, remove the battery. Gently hold the back of the lamp and disconnect the terminal block. Remove the rubber boot and disengage the catch from the hook. Take it to the side and remove the lamp from the headlight housing.
Step 2
Do not touch the halogen lamp with your fingers, as the marks will cause dimming when heated. This, in turn, will cause rapid lamp failure. Remove dirt with rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth.
Step 3
To replace the side light bulb, disconnect the connector that fits the side lights. Rotate the lamp socket counterclockwise approximately 45 degrees and remove it from the housing. The turn signal bulb can be removed in the same way: turn the bulb holder and remove it. Click on the lamp, turn it out all the way.
Step 4
To replace the side light bulb and the brake light bulb in the tail light, use a screwdriver to unscrew the two bolts that secure the headlight to the body with a screwdriver. Move the lamp to the side and remove the two pins of the lamp holder from the eyes. Turn the chuck counterclockwise and remove it.
Step 5
Then press down on the lamp and turn it all the way. Remove the lamp from the socket. When reinstalling, pay attention to the fact that the projections on the lamp base are at different levels and must match exactly with the inner slots of the socket.
