Due to a faulty clutch, difficulties can arise with the operation of the car, up to a breakdown of the gearbox. VAZ 2106 has a hydraulic clutch drive, which needs monitoring and timely maintenance. Bleeding the clutch hydraulic drive is performed to remove air from it, after changing the fluid or after repairing the system components due to its depressurization. Before bleeding the hydraulic drive, it is necessary to find and eliminate the cause of the depressurization.

If bleeding is carried out after changing the brake fluid, then first of all it is necessary to clean the drain connection of the clutch master cylinder from dirt and dust. To do this, you can use a metal brush.
Take the prepared hose and slide it onto the clean fitting. The hose should be fitted with a slight tug. Place the other end of the hose into the prepared container. Pour a little brake fluid into the container and make sure that the end of the hose is constantly immersed in it.
Then ask the assistant to get into the car. The assistant should sharply press the clutch pedal 4-5 times. The interval between clicks should be 2-3 seconds. If after pressing the pedal does not return to the initial position, but remains pressed, pull it back.
After pressing, the assistant must hold the pedal depressed. At this moment, you slightly release the drain fitting with a wrench and observe how liquid with air bubbles comes out of the hose in the prepared container.
After the flow of fluid from the hose stops, screw the fitting, release the clutch pedal. Then ask the assistant to step on the pedal again and repeat the cycle. As the pump is pumped, the clutch pedal should "harden".
The cycle is repeated 3-5 times or until air bubbles stop coming out of the hose in the container. At this time, monitor the level of the brake fluid in the reservoir. Do not allow the liquid level to drop below 10 mm from the bottom of the tank!
After the air has escaped, screw on the fitting and remove the hose from it. Keep the other end of the hose in a container with brake fluid, because the hose is full of fluid. Drain the hose and remove it.
Add liquid to the reservoir to the normal level and close the lid tightly. Wipe up any spills of brake fluid with a cloth. Check the system for leaks. If everything is in order, use the car as usual.
