Those car owners who at least once in their life changed the master brake cylinder in their car on their own know how difficult it is to bleed it. This procedure can bring anyone to "white heat".
It is necessary
- - assistant,
- - 10 mm spanner,
- - brake fluid - 1 fl.
Instructions
Step 1
Despite the seeming simplicity of pumping the master cylinder, no one has yet been able to carry it out alone.
Step 2
The process covered is reduced to the following sequential actions of both participants:
- the assistant is located in the driver's seat in the car, - a colleague closes with his fingers all the holes in the cylinder, except for the first;
- the assistant smoothly presses the brake pedal, and, having drowned it to the end, gives the partner a prearranged signal;
- the partner closes all the holes of the cylinder with his fingers,
- the assistant returns the brake pedal to its original position.
Step 3
The above actions of both participants in the pumping process are repeated until the liquid from the opening of the front section of the master brake cylinder at the moment the assistant presses the brake pedal starts to be squeezed out by the jet.
Step 4
At this stage (the fluid has filled the cylinder section, and the brake pedal is in its original position), the partner connects the tube to the front hole of the cylinder (the tube fitting is twisted almost completely).
Step 5
The assistant signals a colleague to start pressing the brake pedal, and the partner at this moment carries out the final tightening of the tube tip fitting.
Step 6
Having finished with the front, proceed to pumping the second section of the master brake cylinder. In this case, the injection of brake fluid is carried out in a similar way to the previous method.
Step 7
With all pipes connected, check the brake system for air. If a positive result is obtained, it is pumped completely.
