To remove air from the hydraulic system of the brakes of cars of the VAZ family, it is impossible to cope alone. The principle of bleeding the hydraulic brake system is subject to strictly defined rules for any vehicle equipped with such brakes. The basis of the basics: it is necessary to expel air from the longest line, step by step moving to the shortest.
Necessary
Brake fluid, brake bleed wrench, rubber or silicone tube, empty bottle
Instructions
Step 1
We add brake fluid to the hydraulic cylinder reservoir under the very plug. We seat the assistant in the car in the driver's seat, and we ourselves go down into the pit and approach the right rear wheel. We find a fitting for bleeding the brake cylinder, remove the protective rubber cap from it, put a special key and a tube on the fitting, which we lower into a glass or bottle.
Step 2
We ask the assistant to apply the brakes to the stop of the pedal and hold it in this state with his foot. We ourselves open the fitting and observe the squeezed out brake fluid, for the presence of air in it. During this time, the brake pedal falls through and the assistant, when it reaches the floor, is obliged to inform you about it. Then you immediately close the fitting, and the person in the cabin repeats the procedure for pumping the brakes. The pedal rested - it gives you a signal, and you open the bleeder.
Step 3
This procedure continues until all the air has been removed from the pumped cylinder. Having finished with the right rear cylinder, you successively go: to the left wheel, then to the front right and then to the left front. The vacuum brake booster is pumped last.
