It is necessary

  • - vibroplast;
  • - polyurethane foam;
  • - screwdriver;
  • - building hair dryer;
  • - primer;
  • - solvent;
  • - anti-corrosion agent;
  • - brush;
  • - putty knife.

Instructions

Step 1

Disassemble completely the interior of the car, remove interfering electrical wiring. Remove the door trim, the headliner, and the rear seat side and rear wheel arch liners.

Step 2

Clean up the corroded areas. Degrease all surfaces with solvent. Prime and paint where rust has been removed. Treat the interior with an anti-corrosion compound. Fill all voids in the car body with polyurethane foam. Also, with the help of it, seal up all the corners, cavities of the thresholds.

Step 3

Stick vibroplastic sheets in the car interior and on the door, previously cut out according to templates. This material is self-adhesive, so no glue is required in this case. Heat the vibroplast with a construction hair dryer, if required by the instructions. Some of its types do not need to be warmed up during installation. Smooth out the glued sheets thoroughly, removing any air bubbles.

Step 4

Look carefully at the power window mechanisms and door lock rods, which may touch and rattle while driving. In this case, you can isolate them from each other using foam rubber. To do this, simply slide this material over one of the mating parts.

Step 5

Use double-sided tape to secure the decorative plastic trims when installing the trim on the car doors.

Step 6

Identify loose plastic equipment in the cabin. Tighten the screws and nuts carefully by placing them on rubber or foam pads, if necessary. View the entire interior of the car in this way when assembling it.

Step 7

Purchase and install a special protective cover on the car engine, which will improve the sound insulation of the passenger compartment.
