Renault Logan is one of the best-selling foreign cars in Russia. It is not surprising, because this car attracts buyers not only with its design and quality, but also with a good price. Many motorists can afford this car, so the issues of operation and replacement of faulty components, in particular various lamps, become relevant for it. Renault Logan uses block headlights that combine high and low beam bulbs and direction indicators at the same time.
Instructions
Step 1
To replace the headlamp bulbs, open the hood of the car and disconnect the negative cable from the battery. Then carefully remove the headlight cover and squeeze the catch from the hooks on the reflector.
Step 2
Slide the catch and take out the headlight bulb. Do not touch the flask with your hands. Do everything with gloves or a clean rag. Spots on the lamp can cause darkening and rapid bulb failure. Insert the new bulb into the reflector and press down with the clip. Then replace the cover.
Step 3
To replace the side light, turn the corresponding bulb holder clockwise (for the right headlight) and counterclockwise for the left. Pull the socket out of the headlight and then remove the bulb from it. Install a new bulb in the socket and reinsert it.
Step 4
To replace the turn signal bulb, you also need to remove the socket by rotating it. Then turn the lamp counterclockwise and pull it out of the socket. Install a new bulb and put everything back in place in reverse order.
Step 5
Replacing bulbs in the rear light is of the same type and assumes the following: remove the rear light, having previously disconnected the "minus" from the battery terminal. Press down on the latches and remove the back cover along with the lamp holders.
Step 6
Select the lamp to be replaced, push it in, turn it counterclockwise and remove it. Install the new one, making sure that the tabs on the new lamp fit exactly into the slots in the socket. Fix it and assemble the lantern in the reverse order.
