A tape recorder in a car is a must. Favorite music played by the speakers is much more pleasant than the monotonous hum of the engine.
A radio in a car is not so much a luxury as a means of entertainment for the driver. It is not very pleasant to listen to the monotonous sound of the engine on a long journey, it is much more pleasant when your favorite music delights your ears. Previously, magnetic tapes were used as media, a little later CDs began to appear, and even later - flash drives, which are based on a microcircuit. You can record a lot of music on such a USB flash drive, it will always be at hand, takes up less space than an optical disc. Therefore, installing a radio tape recorder in a car is a task that every motorist has faced.
How to install a tape recorder
The player unit itself is mounted in a special hole located in the panel. The hole is located above the stove fan switch. If the tape recorder has not been installed before, this hole will be covered with a plastic plug. First, you need to install a metal frame in the hole for the radio tape recorder, which will hold the tape recorder in the panel.
This metal frame has many cutouts and tabs that need to be bent for a better connection with the panel. The tape recorder itself is installed inside the frame. Having entered it completely, the radio tape recorder is fixed with special clips on the sides. After that, it can be removed only with a special key that comes with the radio. These keys are supplied in duplicate; to remove the tape recorder, they must be installed on the sides at the same time.
Most importantly, you need to connect the power to the radio. As a rule, on all radio tape recorders, the color coding of the wires is almost the same. Black and blue are a power minus, and red and yellow are a plus. It is best to take power from the cigarette lighter. First, it has a high current fuse. Secondly, it is the closest food point. You can, of course, install a new fuse in the block, stretch a new wire in the bundles. But this is extra work.
Installation of acoustics
The standard speaker system is two front speakers and two rear speakers. The optimal routing of wires to the acoustics is under the panel cable routing for the front speakers, and under the beard, near the handbrake, under the rear seat, for the rear speakers. You just have to lift the cover in order to stretch the wires under it.
Front speakers are best mounted in doors. It will be beautiful if you use podiums. The rear speakers are mounted on a shelf, with a podium between the shelf and the speaker. Try to stretch the wires so that during the operation of the car they do not touch them. The connection to the wires of the block is made according to the diagram drawn on the sticker on the radio case, or in the instructions.
