It is necessary

  • - a set of new bulbs;
  • - Screwdriver Set;
  • - cotton gloves;
  • - wet wipes.

Instructions

Step 1

Before replacing any light bulb in your car, be sure to turn off the engine and switch off the ignition. Open the hood and disconnect the minus terminal from the battery, so you reduce the risk of a short circuit in the on-board power system of the machine to zero.

Step 2

To replace the low and high beam and light bulbs, it is necessary to remove the covers that are located under the front of the hood. Locate the rubber or plastic covers on the back of each headlight and carefully detach them.

Step 3

There are two rubber plugs on the rear wall of the housing of each headlamp unit. To replace the low beam bulb, pull out the cap closest to the radiator grille.

Step 4

Under it you will see two pads of wires that are connected to the socket. Unplug them carefully and set them aside. Try to prevent the pads from touching, as residual current may remain in the on-board power supply system.

Step 5

Find the two bolts that secure the bulb holder. Unscrew them and remove the cartridge from the socket. Unscrew the old light bulb from the socket a few turns counterclockwise. Examine the old light element carefully.

Step 6

Install a new bulb. Perform all procedures only with cotton gloves, which prevent the appearance of greasy fingerprints on the glass of the lamp. If you did take the light element with your bare hands, then wipe it with a cloth moistened with alcohol or glass cleaner.

Step 7

Install the socket in the headlamp in reverse order.

Step 8

To replace the high beam lamps, follow the same scheme, but you will already need to open the plugs that are located at the edges of the headlight housings.

Step 9

The rear light bulbs are replaced in the same way.

Step 10

To replace the bulbs in the turn signals, you must carefully remove the outer glass. To do this, grab the case and slide it forward, the latch will open and the turn signal will jump out of the groove, hanging on the wires. Disconnect the pads from the body.

Step 11

On the back, unscrew the two screws and remove the outer glass. Take out the old light bulb and replace it with a new one. Assemble the turn signal in reverse order.
