There are situations when on the road you need to urgently charge your mobile phone, laptop, camera or other digital equipment. This can be done with a charger. However, the charging fuse may suddenly blow. In this case, you need to disassemble the case and replace the burnt-out part with a similar new one.

It is necessary

  • - a set of watch screwdrivers;
  • - a sharp stationery knife;
  • - new fuse;
  • - glue.

Instructions

Step 1

Place a light-colored cloth or sheets of white paper on the table. Small bolts and parts are easily distinguishable on them. Turn on your desk lamp. Take a close look at the charging and determine the type of connection of the body parts. If the parts of the charger are connected together with screws, they must be carefully unscrewed. Typically, car chargers use cross-head bolts.

Step 2

Remove the screws gently and smoothly. Plastic threads are very fragile. If the bolt does not lend itself well, then make a few turns in the opposite direction and continue to unscrew. Also, the screw can rotate in one place. In this case, you need to carefully pry the head of the bolt with an awl or a thin needle, while continuing to twist it with a screwdriver.

Step 3

Find all the plastic clips that hold the case. They can be hidden and closed. If the latches on your charging model are open, then gently squeeze the tabs out of the grooves. If the latches are closed, press down on the case where they are located. Using the tip of a flat screwdriver, gently pry the top section off and remove.

Step 4

It will be much more difficult to get access to the insides if the charging is disposable and its body is cast. Then you have to cut the plastic. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut off one of the parts of the plastic case. Be very careful and careful not to disturb the insides of the charging when cutting. After replacing the fuse, you will have to glue both parts. Remember that using a repaired disposable charger may cause a short circuit, as these chargers are not designed to be repaired or long-term.

Step 5

If you don't have a fuse on hand, and you need to repair the charger as soon as possible, use a regular wire. Close the fuse connector pins with it. After that, charging will work again. Please note that this method can only be used as a last resort! Install the fuse as soon as possible.
