Kits for replacing drum brake systems with disc ones appeared on sale. Their assortment is so wide that it is possible to make alterations on almost any brand of car.

Instructions
Step 1
Replacing brake systems is best done in a garage. Raise the car on a jack, remove the wheels on which you will rework the brakes.
Step 2
Remove the brake drums. They can come off easily, or they may not. If the drums are not easy to remove, for example, due to rust on their seats, take 2 M8 bolts and screw them into the threaded holes on the drum. They are located close to the hub seating collar. After tightening the bolts, gradually tighten them with a 13 spanner spanner. Try to tighten evenly, otherwise the drum may break. Usually, after several turns of the key, the brake drum comes out of its seat. In addition, excessively diluted brake pads can interfere with removing the drum. If your particular machine has a window for adjusting the brake pads, use a flat screwdriver to move the brake pads away from the drum surface.
Step 3
Now remove the hubs. In most cases, on an independent wheel suspension, the hub is mounted on 4 bolts. Simply take a suitable socket wrench and loosen the mounting bolts, then remove the hub along with the wheel bearing housing so that it does not interfere with further dismantling of the brake system.
Step 4
Remove the brake pad retainer pins. To do this, press down on the retainer plate and rotate it 90 degrees to release it from the pin lock. Remove the spring plate. Do the same for each brake pad.
Step 5
Remove the brake pads. To do this, completely close the adjusting mechanism, otherwise it will be difficult for you to dismantle the tension spring. Using pliers, remove the tension spring, then remove one of the pads, to which nothing else is attached, then remove the second. Disengage the parking brake actuator by removing the retaining ring from the pin on the parking brake lever and pulling it out of the hole in the brake shoe. Do not lose the bottom spring pulling the pads from below.
Step 6
Remove the end of the parking brake cable from the arm bracket. Remove the cable retaining bolt that secures it to the rear plate of the brake system. Disconnect the brake pipe from the working cylinder. Remove the rear drum brake disc.
Step 7
Take the brake caliper holder from the disc brake kit and attach it to the rear wheel journal. Attach an apron to it.
Step 8
Install the hub, fit a new brake disc onto it.
Step 9
Install the brake caliper retainer bracket (remember to fit the springs and brake pads), then install the brake caliper.
Step 10
Connect the brake caliper to the brake pipe. Install new parts on the second side of the machine. Remove the parking brake cable from the machine.
Step 11
Fill the brake cylinders with brake fluid and remove air from the lines.
