Step 1
The first step is to thoroughly wash the moped to remove all dirt, dust, oil and gasoline residues. If this is not done, all your efforts will be in vain, and the painting will be of poor quality. Then let it dry.
Step 2
Next, you need to decide on the painting method: using a spray gun or a spray can of paint. Since not everyone has a spray bottle, and it makes no sense to buy it only for painting a scooter, then the use of a balloon will be optimal.
Step 3
We take coarse-grained sandpaper (usually P60) and clean the paint in a circular motion on the damaged area. Next, you need to apply a starting putty. Let it dry and again clean it with sandpaper. The next step is to apply a finishing putty and again sandpaper it. We are waiting for everything to dry. We clean the entire part with a special sandpaper P800. Next, degrease and remove the static charge. Let's go directly to painting. It is necessary to paint in several layers, usually 3-5. Before moving on to a new layer, it is necessary that the old dry out and begin to "set".
